At the harvest stage of our micro-livestock production process, we carefully sift larvae from the casting they generate. The castings, called Frass, form the base of our organic fertilizer products called NatSoil and Natural Garden Frass. Separated larvae are gently inactivated using hot water and cleaned thoroughly before processing.

During processing, larvae are cooked, pressed and dried with steam to ensure optimal extraction of lipids and to ensure that nutrients are not denatured. The solid cake generated after extraction and drying is left to cool and then milled into a fine powder. This protein powder is bagged as NatMeal. The oil is generated during extraction is refined to remove any impurities and filled into tanks as NatOil.
